In this episode, we talk about relationships and breakups. We focus on the post breakup period and how to navigate through those feelings. There isn’t a manual written about how to deal with a heartbreak but what we do know is who we are, who to rely on during difficult times, and what kind of relationship we want for ourselves in this life. We also know challenging times bring out a new version of yourself you had not met before. Welcome to the season of breakthroughs.

We all have some thoughts that not even we ourselves like thinking about it, let alone actually speak about it out loud with others. But through this podcast we always strive to make people feel like they are not alone in their thoughts or life situations and that no feeling is off limits when it comes to the human kind. During this episode we create a safe space to explore people’s minds, emotions, and beliefs about day-to-day struggles as well as larger abstract fears. But no worries friends, after dropping the serious we always come back to the funny and everything in between.

This episode was recorded in April, a month after the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, was declared a global pandemic and the world had to go under lockdown to contain the spread of the disease. During this episode we talk about how we are coping with our new normal, what are our main challenges and silver linings, and what we look forward to the most. It is hard to put into words the roller coaster of emotions we have all felt thus far, but as always, we will continue to have raw, honest conversations in an effort to help others.

In this episode we talk about how excited we are for the new year, what we plan to leave behind, and what inspires us going forward. Certain social improvements, especially within women rights, made us think that 2020 could have been a great year for many of us, little did we know a global pandemic would take over our planet. These are our unedited feelings we had about the new year. We decided to let our December 2019 selves enjoy it while they could. Better times will come, we hope.

In this episode we discuss our concerns about our home, our planet. We go back to the fires in Brazil, Bolivia, and Paraguay and talk about how it affected our countries. We also discuss about cultural habits that are putting our planet at great risk. We share some measures we have taken to help out, even if they are small, even if they may seem insignificant on a daily basis. It is the little things we all do that make a difference.

In this episode we talk about the US women soccer team’s highly successful career, yet it’s inequality within the sport. We discuss women in professional sports, double standards, the fight for equal pay, among other criticism. We are glad to live in a time that this is at least a topic of conversation, but it is only the beginning. There is so much to conquer, so much to fight for, and so many opportunities ahead.

In this episode we talk about Chelsea Handler’s latest book, Life Will be the Death of Me. In it, she narrates her inspiring journey with mental health along with the help of her psychiatrist, Dan Siegel. We discussed why we enjoyed this book so much and how her early childhood experiences impacted her adult life. But no episode is complete without the three of us also catching up on our latest whereabouts.

In this episode we talked about how magical a new tv show, Most Beautiful Thing, is. It’s name truly resembles the beauty of this Brazilian Netflix show. It resonated so deeply with us because it gives viewers the inside look at the lives of several women outside of stereotypes. It does a wonderful job of illustrating women in such a realistic approach that has been long overdue in Hollywood. We also compare it to other favorite shows of ours and share our reviews with our listeners.

take it with you

Iphone_trans Listening to podcasts on your mobile devices is extremely convenient -- and it's what makes the podcasting medium so powerful.

You can take your favorite shows and mixes with you anywhere, but to do so requires some quick and simple steps.

Let's walk you through that process together.
step 1:

Click the "Subscribe With iTunes" link in the page's sidebar:

Subscribe_with_itunes

This will require that you have the iTunes software on your computer.

(You can download iTunes here.)
step 2:
Itunes_ss

Now that you've subscribed to the podcast on iTunes, the feed will display in your "Podcasts" section on the left navigation bar.

Click there and you'll see the show displayed in the iTunes browser.

You can "get all" to download all available episodes or just individual episodes.
step 3:

Plug your mobile device (iPhone, iPad, iPod) into your computer with the Dock Connector cable, and click the device in iTunes's left navigation bar.

Itunes_ss2

Once you have your device highlighted, click "Podcasts" in the top navigation bar and sync the podcasts you want on your device. Click "apply" and the episodes you have downloaded on your iTunes software will sync with your device.
that's it!

The beauty of this process is that now, every new episode of your subscribed podcasts will automatically sync to your device every time you plug it in and open iTunes. You can now take your favorite shows with you everywhere you go.

Enjoy!
